Terms and Conditions

Deposit Policy:

Once a charter is agreed upon, a 50% deposit is required to reserve the sail.

Cancellation Policy:

10+ days prior to charter date:

  • You may cancel your charter and will receive a refund of your deposit minus a 10% service fee.
  • You may reschedule your charter until November 30th of the same year’s charter season for free.

0-10 days prior to charter date:

  • Refund of deposit is not available.
  • Rescheduling is not available.

Illness cancellations (including Covid):

  • You may reschedule a charter cancelled due to illness to a future morning or afternoon charter scheduled on a Monday through Thursday for the same year your charter is booked. Refunds are not available. I recommend travel insurance if you are from out of town.

Weather Policy:

If we cancel due to bad weather, you may reschedule. If you are unable to reschedule, your deposit will be fully refundable (I will absorb the transaction fee).

  • Bad weather is defined as excessive wind as determined by me, temperatures below 40 degrees Fahrenheit, an Air Quality Index above 200, and/or chance of rain greater than 40% that lasts for more than 30 minutes confirmed by radar (using weather.com as our source).
  • We need to wait until the day of the charter (at least two hours prior to our charter) so we can interpret radar projections.

Additional Terms and Conditions:

  • Infants and children, regardless of age, are included in the six-person maximum allowed on board. This is requirement by the United States Coast Guard.
  • I will provide a life jacket to any passenger wishing to wear one
  • Passengers twelve years old and under are required by law to wear life jackets while on the vessel.
  • Parents or guardians are responsible for determining if their minors between the ages of 13-17 must wear a life jacket.
  • The person booking the charter is required to share this life jacket policy with all members of their group.
  • I reserve the right to cancel your charter and keep your deposit if you or a member of your party arrives inebriated.
  • A waiver required by my insurance company must be signed in person.
